Our mission is to create a better approach to arboriculture in the city – one that prioritizes the healthy development of Toronto’s urban forest while ensuring clients receive high-quality, efficient, and reliable services.
We are fully insured, ISA certified, and have years of experience in the field. We are eager to help our clients find the best solutions for their arboricultural needs while keeping our city’s trees healthy.

THE TEAM
George Squire - Founder
International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist
George has been working in the urban forest for the past 14 years, where he has developed a deep appreciation for the many benefits that trees provide. In 2014, George founded Bright Leaf because he wanted to offer arboricultural services the right way: emphasizing education, keeping clients informed, and providing clear rationale about approaches.
Shane O’Neill
International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist
Shane joined Bright Leaf in 2019, after a journey over from the United Kingdom. Through his passion and fast learning skills, Shane has quickly taken to arboriculture and is planning to complete his ISA certification this year.
Cecilia Piumbini
Office Administrator
Cecilia has been with Bright Leaf since its foundation. Her unparalleled dedication and organization is what keeps Bright Leaf running smoothly.
